Ranked # 8 on Rolling Stones’ all time greatest albums, London Calling is the third studio album from the Clash. Released in the UK on 14 December 1979 and the following year in the US.

Upon its release the album sold over two million copies and peaked at number nine in the UK charts and was certified Gold December ’79. In the United States, London Calling peaked at number 27 but took until 1996 to be certified platinum !
