“Closing Time” is the fantastic debut studio album from Tom Waits which came out on Asylum Records March 1973. The album is viewed as being mainly Folk influenced although Waits has always viewed it as a Jazz Piano led album.

The album has been reissued four times since its initial release on LP in 1973. This, the most recent re-issue, is possibly the best I’ve heard the album sound. It’s on 180 gram vinyl with the LP master cut from the original analogue masters. Another amazing Rhino re-issue !
