Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde is the debut album of The Pharcyde. Released November 24, 1992 the album became an underground hit hailed by critics everywhere (some many years later) and has appeared in numerous publications and “best albums” lists.

Released during an era where Hip Hop was taking a more serious bend it was a refreshing new sound which bands like the Pharcyde led the charge along De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Freestyle Fellowship, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien etc. Bizarre Ride helped establish a new alternative scene on the West Coast, followed by artists such as J5 and The Coup.
