Stone Roses – Turns Into Stone -LP- 180 Gram Re-Issue
“Turns Into Stone” was released in 1992 and consists of early singles and B-sides that hadn’t featured on their debut release. The compilation reached number 32 on the UK album chart.
The album was releases around the ongoing legal battle that the Stone Roses were having with their label Silvertone Records. A court order had been set preventing the band from releasing any new material. During that time Silvertone re-released quite a few singles including to new versions of “Fools Gold”.
Despite this, the album is seen in a positive light by Roses fans because it collects the extended versions of many of their best-known non-album songs.
