Primus & the Chocolate Factory with the Fungi Ensemble is the eighth studio album from Primus.

The album is a re-imagining (we say this quite loosely) of the film Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, Primus-style. If you know Primus, then you know it is going to be a twisted, knob-twiddling, guitar-explosion type of experience!

Les Claypool told Rolling Stone Magazine in s recent interview that he was obsession with Roald Dahl: “I don’t think it was until Jaws came along that I was more obsessed with a film, when I started drawing sharks all over my binders and notebooks. Prior to that it was everything Wonka.”
