13th Floor Elevators – Easter Everywhere – LP –
Easter Everywhere is the second studio offering from The 13th Floor Elevators which was released November ’67 on the International Artists label. The original packaging had printed lyrics on the inner sleeve, gold ink on the cover which rubbed off on your fingers and full colour pictures on the reverse which made for expensive packaging back in the late 60’s.
The album is filled with psychedelic masterpieces to an out there cover of Dylan’s “Baby Blue”. The album has a distinctive Soul/Blues influence as well. As on the previous album, Tommy Hall’s electric jug is prominent in the music.
